We work during this program according to the three Ps: Practice (of making), Portfolio (collection of tangible evidence of your ability) and Presentation (skill in presenting your particular niche; telling your personal “story,” both physically and online).
Distinctive
We will explore the couture technique from the basics, but immediately explore its relevance to your own unique work. We teach you how to convert an idea in your head into a concrete design. We help you find the right materials. You can start working independently after this training.
In this program, my goal is to help YOU develop your skills and professionalism. You will discover if your talent is present in this area and how you can possibly use this talent to generate income. This training with assignments challenges you to actively develop yourself further. A kind of art school, craft school, business training and coaching in one concept.
Investment
First of all: time! By building new routines into your life, a world of new possibilities opens up to you. Your hands learn to make beautiful things while your head gathers new insights to devise, elaborate and implement designs yourself.
The investment for this program, which you enroll in for a minimum of one year, is 12 monthly installments of €975 or a single payment of €10,000 (instead of €12.000 (discount of about 2 months): action valid until May 24 2023).

Practical
The Couture & Craftsmanship Concept is an ONLINE program. You may consider doing an internship with Saskia ter Welle Couture during one or more days per week if you desire, but this is not a pre-requisite for doing this program. You will work independently from home or your own studio on assignments and have regular contact with Saskia and the other participants.
