Is Broderie d’Art something for me?
Maybe you ask yourself if broderie d’art or haute couture embroidery is something for you? In today’s video Saskia ter Welle will answer this question. Watch the video here:
Broderie d’Art is often surrounded by a hint of mystery. A fairy tale that is far-from-your-bed-story, too beautiful to be true, too complicated to even begin with.
But is it? Where did you get that idea? And do you perhaps secretly dream of it? Would you like to try it? Are you considering starting it but do not know how? The question: “Is Broderie d’Art for me?” I would like to answer with you.
You may want to know more about it. In that case, I recommend you:

I am currently doing a little research on how people have discovered the beauty of haute couture embroidery. May I ask you something? How did you get here on this website? What made you curious about broderie d’Art? What inspired you? It is striking how often people tell me that they have seen a documentary by CHANEL in which they saw people embroidering and how special it made them feel. Or they visited a fashion exhibition where they were touched by special embroidery. What struck a chord with you?
Let me know in a message below! Thanks in advance! Ciao!

Creativiteit zit in mijn bloed.
