In recent years I have been operating more and more internationally and I write my blogs now mostly in two languages. In case you haven’t noticed, there is a language selection button in the top bar on the right.
Now, all this time I hadn’t gotten around to recording a video in English about the basics of haute couture embroidery – namely dressing a large embroidery frame. That has now happened! A nice opportunity to put this in the spotlight:

Do you ever work on an embroidery frame? Do you like it? Or difficult? Or … let me know in the posts below. Nice to hear from you!

Couture training
The program of workshops, master classes and training at Dutch Couture Academy is aimed at (upcoming) professionals in the fashion industry who are looking for an opportunity to specialise in couture techniques. Enthusiastic amateurs are also very welcome! In the courses, a balance is sought between technique and inspiration, between knowledge and skill and artistic expression. The discovery of one’s own handwriting is seen as crucial to the distinctive craftsmanship of each course participant.
