Passion for Craft? Perhaps this is you: you love sewing, embroidery or pattern drawing. You are always looking for the most beautiful materials, which slowly but surely accumulate in your studio. You strive to continually improve your knowledge and skills and take them to the next level. Yet …
… Yet it also falters somewhere!
Because you lack the drive to follow through. You lack just that bit of knowledge , that kick in the butt or that fun, inspiring contact that makes you “fly.
I completely understand.
This is how I was fifteen years ago. I knew I had a lot to offer, that I could do more than I was showing at the time. But there was a missing link in it all, leaving me completely stuck in certain ideas of how something should be.
Ideas that did not take me one step further to actually build a life around my passion for couture craft.
That changed, however, and the rest is history.
You didn’t have to tell me then that I would have done three fashion shows, that I would be helping trainees from all over the world make this switch, nor that I would have so much fun doing this ….
Because I absolutely would not have believed you …
Next week I’m going to share more with you about this missing link in the free webinar “Live Your Passion for Craft,” and you can be there!
Because you know …
I believe in you
I believe in you. In the infinite creativity that lies within you. In the person you are right now, shaped by everything you have experienced in your life.
I believe in the power of together.
I believe that what seems impossible on your own can be realized together.
I believe in the moment
I believe that any moment can be the right moment when you decide: now I’m going to do things differently! Because that moment may be now. Or tomorrow.
The moment that can be decisive for how you will be in five or 10 years.
I believe in the power of online
If anything has taught us in recent years, it is that almost EVERYTHING can be done online! And that the benefits of online are enormous. Especially if you have limited time.
After all, for online meetings you need
- not be stuck in traffic jams
- arrange for a babysitter
- or book a hotel
Online can ALWAYS be done.
I believe in the power of live
I believe in the power of meeting each other real-life. In the spark of inspiration that spills over into a meeting of like-minded people. I believe we can create opportunities to meet in real life.
Therefore, I have planned an International Study Week in April. To give you, wherever you live, the opportunity to come to Doesburg and experience what craft can do to you in an inspiring environment.
Does this sound like music to your ears? Do you recognize yourself in any of these things?
