Specifics embroidery frame:

Two large wooden pieces of 98-6-1 cm with holes.
Two small wooden pieces  of 60-6-1 cm with a slot.
Staple stiff, cotton twill tape, (width at least 5 cm) to the large components of the embroidery frame.
4 Knobs with pins that match exactly the size of the slot; round plates to protect the frame

This frame works so well because it combines the sturdy wood with holes and slotted sides. You can quickly adopt the tension in the frame by changing the knob. Extremely convenient for every day use.

Make sure to finish the wooden parts well and have the right size of knob for the holes and slot of your frame. This makes all the difference.
