Great you to join us for this short introduction to the technique of Moulage. This course is designed to introduce you to a new way of making patterns (and to see what it’s like to learn something online!).
The course consists of two parts:
- preparations and materials for moulage
- moulage method for making a corset
Today you will be introduced to part 1.
You will discover that you don’t need much to get started with moulage. If you want to learn more about it you will probably want to use a (different) mannequin. And maybe buy some handy tools. But you won’t need more than a few simple tools like fabric, scissors, pen and a ruler plus a lot of pins.

You can watch this video today at a time that suits you and do the preparations for moulage. Then you’ll be ready to start working with moulage tomorrow.
